TeaCrine® (Theacrine) is known for providing energy and focus, similar to caffeine, without many of the negative side effects associated with the stimulant. In fact, TeaCrine is technically not a stimulant and unlike caffeine, TeaCrine can decrease anxiety.
Theacrine has the ability to elevate levels of dopamine in the brain, which can in turn increase overall mood and may have stress relieving properties. Studies also show that theacrine may also acutely decrease inflammation.
Theacrine users can also expect no desensitization with the product overtime. Unlike caffeine, there is no tolerance build up with theacrine and can continue use without experiencing a decrease in effectiveness over time.
Recommended dosage for Theacrine is generally 1 capsule one to two times daily.
Mode of Action
Theacrine’s mode of action is produced by synergistic reactions between dopaminergic and adenosinergic pathways. By affecting these important pathways and supporting other neurotransmitters, TeaCrine can increase energy production and mental performance.
Results of an acute toxicity test showed that the LD50 of theacrine was 810.6 mg per kg of body weight.
