Ultra Strength Fish Oil Capsules Benefits

Being healthy in the brain and body isn’t getting any easier when we’re under siege from pollution, stress, and our food—but luckily, we can fight back with the support of the omega-3 fatty acids of fish oil.

Fish Oil’s Omega-3 fatty acids come from DHA and EPA, and our Ultra Strength Fish Oil gives you more than 3 times the amount found in other capsules.  Plus, we only use sustainably and environmentally friendly sources of fish oil so you can feel good about your choice!

DHA exists in the brain, so why not ensure that your brain has an adequate level to protect it from these harmful inflammatory stressors?  Nourish your brain and nervous system by keeping those mental gears well-oiled and ready to take on whatever comes your way!

Ultra Strength Fish Oil Capsules Mode of Action

The balance in the modern Western diet of Omega 3 fatty acid to Omega 6 fatty acid is out of proportion. Ancient humans had a more balanced ratio of these fatty acids. Omega 6 is mainly derived from seed oil, and the switch from livestock feed from Omega 3 dominant diets to Omega 6 dominant diets of grain and seed has contributed to the current imbalance. Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids compete for the same enzymes, and too much Omega 6 inhibits synthesis of Omega 3 fatty acids (1).

Essential fatty acids like Omega 3 fatty acids are long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids. Derived from marine sources, Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and Eicosapentaenoic acid (EHA) supplementation have many benefits (2).

DHA is found in high concentrations in the brains of mammals.  Sixty percent of the weight of the brain is from phospholipids (1).

DHA has demonstrated its ability to support cognitive health because of its special relationship to the brain and neural tissue (3).

Essential fatty acids support bone health by increasing calcium absorption in the gastrointestinal system and enhancing the effects of Vitamin D and enhancing bone collagen synthesis (4).

The role of EPA and mood support is still being investigated but has shown promise in supporting a healthy mood (5).

Ultra Strength Fish Oil Capsules Dosage

Pure Nootropics’ Ultra Strength Fish Oil provide a balanced ratio of DHA and EPA with a total Omega-3 content of 750 mg per 1 softgel. Suggested use for adults is 1 capsule by mouth daily, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.

Ultra Strength Fish Oil Capsules Side Effects

Some concerns exist around the potential for a medication interaction between Fish Oil supplements and patients taking aspirin or statins (7). If you are taking any medications, please consult your healthcare practitioner before beginning supplementation with fish oil.
