Great stuff! Came quickly and had no trouble getting through Canadian customs. This stuff is very subtle in its effects, if you are expecting an amphetemine type experience or to do this recreationally you will be disappointed.
However if you have lots of work or studying to get through, this works great! I’ve been using it to get through massive amounts of boring editing and my attention span and work drive is awesome. You do build a tolerance qiuckly though, so maybe set up a plan for ever other day.
I find it acts as an enhancer for coffee, so if you are a coffee drinker be warned, this can really kick caffiene into high gear!
It also tastes like crap, so get some gel caps. Don’t dissolve it in a drink.
Otherwise, this stuff is pretty good. I am happy with it.

I had a wonderful mental rush and vigor on Phenylpiracetam.(I took two pills) I could easily focus and I had my wits about me. It hit me fairly quickly on an empty stomach. Only about 35 minutes after taking it. I felt on the ball. For me, it gave me a pronounced sensation or feeling in the front of my brain. More specifically my frontal lobe. I took choline bitartrate in the morning so I had no headache at all. This was my first real racetam and I loved it. At times it gave me a very intense locked on focused which was unreal. I’ve used lots of other nootropics. Noopept, gives me clear head which definitely boosts my creativity which is nothing like phenylpiracetam.
Phenylpiracetam gave me the bite and edge to be detailed oriented. It lasted 4-5 hours for me, then again I’m sensitive to most things.
I highly recommend this for a pick me up when you need it. Don’t use it everyday, otherwise there will be a tolerance.

Sad to say that my experience was less than satisfactory. I’ve been taking modafinil for a year with extraordinary success but the side effect was becoming a major problem (sulphuric odor in urine and sweat). Reading about Phenylpiracetam got me excited — so I have been working with 1 and 2 capsule alternatives for a few weeks. Nothing. The only change for me was drowsiness mid-day. I experienced no boost in stamina, certainly no change in mental clarity, and unfortunately more drowsiness. I strongly considered that I was just taking a placebo, but I have no proof of that so I will not pursue that line of thought.
When I switched back to Moda last week the difference was like night and day. I may have been questioning myself after switching to Phenylpiracetam, but after switching back, I had no questions at all.
I really wish that I could leave a positive review, but these are the facts of my experience. Hopefully yours’ will be better. Not sure what to do with my 2.5 bottles remaining.

I was really surprised, this stuff actually does work. It’s a little bit of a slower onset ~usually about an hour. Seems to stack well with aniracetam. I am an older man with some very serious brain damage in my left frontal lobe and my left parietal lobe, as well as pockets of deep brain damage. This was all caused by encephalitis when I was 3 days old and extended to 30 days old. I was all but pronounced dead at that point and my parents and been instructed to say “goodbye” as I wouldn’t continue to live for more than a couple of hours. Diagnosis and treatment were very difficult in the 1950’s… As you have surmised by now, I managed to live although I was hospitalized a number of times between birth and 6th grade for “failure to thrive”. I did finally thrive when I hit puberty due to loving parents and many caring wonderful neighbors who took me under their wing. I was the first in my family to receive a Master’s degree (engineering) or a college degree of any type. I became a successful specialist in some very complex areas of electronic design, and have worked in several different countries for extended periods of time due to these specialties. I am 100% face blind (prosopagnosia) due to this damage. Interestingly, my damage is left/right hemisphere reversed from all commonly occurring damage of this sort. My neurologists were amazed.
OK, so if you are still with me after such a lengthy introduction, I started taking phenylpiracetam after I became old enough (mid 50’s) that I was no longer able to take other stimulant drugs such as Adderall, Ritalin, Modafinil, or a few other less well known drugs associated with ADHD due to heart palpitations and increased blood pressure.
As I aged, stimulant type drugs started producing racing heart rhythms and other heart related problems. I researched the issue for several years, hoping to find a substitute and eventually read about phenylpiracetam. I have been using this drug for about 2 years with excellent results. It truly lives up to what others are saying here. And for the very professional (and kind) customer who mentioned that it didn’t work for him as well (or if at all) as modafinil, I must point out that modafinil works through very specific genetic anomalies that not everyone has. For me, modafinil makes me actually fall asleep and only gives me a headache and no benefits due to my particular genetic makeup. It helps many others, but benefits from any drug often depend on a person’s exact overall genetic makeup.
I suspect that my neural condition will eventually degrade into Parkinson’s, MS, or (hopefully not) Alzheimer’s disease. The point of this review is to tell you that I am very grateful to Pure Nootropics for their support of phenylpiracetam . It works for me quite well and has returned my work ability back to an age level about 15 years ago. For me, it works like a cross between Ritalin and Adderall. I perform very mathematically intensive work and phenylpiracetam enhances my abilities similar to Ritalin while other, more energy related work is enhanced similar to Adderall (Adderall never provided me with any improved math skills, unlike Ritalin). Phenylpiracetam has improved my memory (which has always been a problem for me, in addition to normal age-related loss) and helped to return my ability to choose the correct words while speaking. This latter problem happened to me as a result of 3 mini-strokes much later in life, my neurologists suspect.
I will strongly caution you, though, that phenylpiracetam _does_ preferentially block the liver from processing alcohol at its normal rate. It is much worse than getting just a hangover from a single drink – if you use phenylpiracetam regularly without breaks, the alcohol takes a very long time to breakdown. This leaves the alcohol in your body longer and causes greater damage than usual (even at very socially and medically acceptable levels) to the liver and pancreas. I had a scare with pancreatitis after using 300 mg daily for 4 months while consuming 1-2 drinks per day. When I realized what was causing this, I went off the phenylpiracetam and the alcohol for about 6 weeks and the pancreatitis symptoms went away. I have since returned to a reduced dosage of 100mg of phenylpiracetam for a 5-days on/2 days-off schedule using a single dose per day. The only effect is that I get about 4 hours of benefits compared to 7-9 hours with the previous higher dose. The alcohol no longer bothers me because the liver has a better chance to process the alcohol. Please note that I carry 2 good copies of the gene that breaks down alcohol (this is the best that one can inherit). Those of you who carry only 1 good copy and 1 bad copy will likely have worse results if you drink. Any genetic testing company such as 23AndMe, Ancestry, FTDNA or many others test this gene, if you are worried. At the end of the day, all things considered, it is really best to simply abstain from drinking alcohol entirely.
If you fill your own capsules as I do, you will soon discover that the consistency of phenylpiracetam is much like brown sugar – a little on the viscous and sticky side. It is easier to mix and more accurate if you put a darker marker in with the drug (I first used a little Ceylon cinnamon which has neuroprotective features and later settled on a small amount of cocoa powder). It lets you see the clumps of phenylpiracetam and break them very easily. I also use a capsule packer (readily available from Amazon in all standard capsule sizes) that depends on sliding the drug across a lot of openings with a spatula. The sticky nature of phenylpiracetam makes this very hard to flow the drug into the capsules, so I mix in a very dry filler to help the flow. My capsure packer holds 50 capsules and I pack them with 100 mg of active drug, so my process is to weigh out 5g of phenylpiracetam using a microscale (also readily available at Amazon) and then add about 1/4 teaspoon of cocoa powder as a marker and then add enough additional filler (I use rice flour because it has very fine particles and is very dry). For my setup using #4 empty gelatin capsules, I add about 4 g of rice flour and this will then spread evenly (with a little effort at the end) into 50 capsules without worrying about getting the same dose into each capsule. Of course, you must mix the contents very carefully by observing the marker (cocoa) distribution to make sure that everything is well mixed.
You will need to adjust the filler and marker additives to be compatible with any allergies that you might have. Rice allergies are not that common, but cocoa probably is. Cinnamon works just as well – just make sure that it is Ceylon cinnamon and not Saigon or Chinese cinnamon. Chinese is a genus, not necessarily the country of origin. If the cinnamon doesn’t say which type it is, it will be Chinese (the most common). These other types are great tasting and high quality, but they contain some naturally occurring chemicals that also further block the liver and kidneys so they are not good choices for regular use.
All in all, my equipment setup (capsule packer, 1000 #4 capsules, and jeweler’s microgram scale) is under $65 at Amazon and serves me well.

Well, OK, (ar)modafinil also works, but that’s a little different… Anyhow, over the years I’ve tried most of the *-racetams, vinpocetine, centrophenoxine, and a few others whose names escape me and obviously weren’t worth remembering in the first place, and I could never really notice any changes. I didn’t feel any smarter, more motivated, or otherwise neurologically-enhanced; maybe they were doing something, and maybe not. This stuff, however, actually does produce a subtle, but noticeable, effect when I’m working on something. It feels easier to stay focused and not lose motivation, and thoughts tend to flow a bit better. The one caveat is that it really only seems to work in combination with a good night’s sleep. If you’re prone to insomnia and/or restless nights (which I am) then it’s not likely to do much to help counterbalance those effects the next day.

I’ve tried a lot of different, less dangerous stimulants. Tried modafinil, and while that’s great its too long of a burn time. 8-12 hours long! Phenyl feels strong for 4 hours or so, and whats great I don’t have to take a lot of it. 100mg is good for a handful of hours. I take it with piracetam and sulbutiamine and it works great. No big crash, or even headaches if you take a choline supplement. Second product I got from purenootropics and really pleased with the quality and service! Will return again for sure.

This stuff is amazing. These are taken with a stack of other Racetams, but I added them all 1 at a time. It was a long time I felt horrible, ate horrible, things weren’t good. After taking Racetams, it gave me the mental boost to feel better and make changes. That was 30 pounds, ago. Game changer, for real. Read the “Knowledge Base” section of this site before purchasing anything. It’s an excellent place to start when getting into Nootropics. Basically everything is cited with a study, and you will feel more confident in your purchase having the knowledge of the different nootropics. Also, don’t take any Racetams without Cholinergics. Optimal Choline is a good start, it has both Alpha GPC & Citicholine(Cognizin). If you’re in sports competition that is tested by WADA, check to ensure what’s allowed. There are a few that, while not containing a stimulant, have a stimulant effect. Not jittery, or uncomfortable feeling, just mental clarity and good feeling that’ll have you shot out of a cannon.

This is a remarkably effective supplement that has allowed me to get massive amounts of work done on the days I take it. Not only does it put me into a state of laser focus, it also increases mood massively, and has a strong anti anxiety effect. I find that Phenylpiracetam works best when used on occasion, so I usually only take it 1-2 times a week. A more suitable racetam for daily use would be something like pure nootropics Aniracetam or their fasoracetam. Phenylpiracetam is a powerhouse and you do not need much to get great results. I use 200mg topics and will sometimes stack it with phenibut. The synergy between the 2 is incredible.

Most of our products are good for 3-5 years after manufacture, however we cannot put expiration dates on the bottles as this requires extensive (and very expensive) shelf-life testing. We typically sell through our batches of Phenylpiracetam so fast that we don’t have any of the same batch for more than a couple months at a time, meaning that the manufacture date of the product you received was likely only a couple months before you placed your order.
