Side Effects of Adrafinil
Adrafinil is metabolized in the liver and has been shown to increase liver enzymes, it is often taken with milk thistle to counteract this effect. Adrafinil should not be taken by anyone with liver problems or concerns. Additionally, women taking an oral contraceptive may want to avoid adrafinil, as it can reduce the efficacy of some types of contraceptives. Adrafinil can raise blood pressure and should not be used by anyone with heart problems.
Other side effects are rare, but some people complain of anxiety, irritability, and changes to mood. People often become more focused on their work, which can come across as reserved or moody even though it is not. Just keep this in mind if you are planning to use adrafinil and try not to use it daily. There are tolerance issues that you’ll want to avoid to maintain the efficacy of the drug.
Adrafinil Dosage
Adrafinil should be taken in 300 mg per day doses. The drug is less strong than modafinil and thus must be used in higher doses. I have found Adrafinil to be an excellent mental energizer and my first order here has proven to be delightful as the quality seems to be equivalent to the original Olmifon that one used to be able to buy online from Europe before the French company discontinued the product. Adrafinil provides a good level of focus and mental energy for me without jitters that lots of caffeine cause. I have to take it early because taking it mid-day guarantees no sleep that night.

From prior experience, I knew how well adrafinil works to energize the brain and help with being
alert and productive. This adrafinil seems as pure and effective as any I’ve used. For me, it works best if I don’t use it every day and alternate with caffeine/theanine on the days I want to be more energized. Oxiracetam has also been helpful for a cognitive boost. Adrafinil works best(for me)if taken first thing in the AM. I suggest that any who have found it ineffective try taking it before eating anything, to see if it makes a difference. Of course, people can be different in their response to many things, and some may simply not react to Adrafinil the way most do.

I take modafanil as well, felt similar like effects from the Adrafanil and added choline GPC. Only issue I have noticed is the toll it takes on your liver which is expected cause it metabolizes in the liver

It helps me stay awake throughout the day. I have to take almost 4 times the recommended dose 2-3 times per day. Not due the products quality but rather due to surgery and my bodies ability to absorb normally. I have tried many different vendors products and I have found that the price and quality is the best. This product does help fight fatigue but hasn’t improved my memory much, which is why I’ve given it 4 stars. I’ve also noticed that after about 6 hours I will have to take a second dose.
I will continue to take this because of that one reason. My only wish is that I could purchase these in 120 capsules or more instead of just what is offered.
At first I bought the smaller bottle then I went back and bought the bigger bottle because I saved a little money.
I would be much happier to get an even bigger bottle if it offered just a tiny bit of a price difference like what is already offered.

Adrafinil is really working for me. I work in a demanding hospital setting with 12 hour shifts. Needless to say it can be overwhelming and tiring at times. I’ve been taking Adrafinil stacked with Aniracetam and Choline for the past week and a half about twice a week. I’ve noticed a real improvement in my alertness and ability to deal with pressure gracefully. I’m pretty new to the whole nootropics game and I’ll probably start cycling Adrafinil with something else as I don’t really want to take it everyday. It does purportedly put some strain on your liver . It is also possible to build a tolerance to the substance. Pure Nootropics is a great company. I’ve been very satisfied.

I have tried multiple other companies’ adrafinil and they don’t even come close to this one. The other ones I tried did not really have an effect on my focus and alertness levels and my urine did not have that smell (a distinct smell to your urine means it is the real compound). I’m a full time science student with a full time job and I have been on adhd medications and this is just SO much better, in so many ways and I don’t get a crash. It also hasn’t affected my sleeping cycle, like the medications did. Also, their customer service is top notch.
